The app that remembers the coffees you love.
Log every coffee you drink. Build a taste profile that actually learns. Discover what to drink next — in your city.
Free to use. iOS first. Launching in London and Lisbon.
Most specialty coffee spaces aren't designed for beginners. The tasting notes read like a sommelier's PhD thesis. The staff assume you already know. You order the safe thing, confirm the prejudice, and leave.
Cuppd is the app I would have downloaded in Berlin in 2015, if it had existed. I lived opposite Five Elephant and worked next to The Barn. I ordered hot chocolate. For years. Then I moved to Lisbon, found a friendlier scene, and lost about a decade of good coffee in a single afternoon.
The specialty coffee scene is full of coffees worth drinking. They're just hard to find if you don't already know.
“If you've been ordering the hot chocolate, this is for you.”
Luke, Cuppd founder
How it works
Scan or log any coffee
QR code on the bag, barcode, or search by name. Logging takes ten seconds. You don't need to know what you're doing — you just need to know what you're drinking.
Build a taste profile that learns
Every log feeds your profile. Rate what you love, skip what you don't. After enough cups, you get a taste archetype — not a percentage score, a personality.
Find what to drink next
Open recommendations based on your taste profile only. City maps showing every stockist and cafe that carries coffees you'd actually like. A taste archive that's yours forever.
Built for the drink, not the hobby.
Every feature was designed for someone who wants to drink better coffee, not someone who wants to talk about it.
Your taste archetype
Ten logs in, you get a taste archetype — a profile built from everything you've actually rated. Not a score. A personality. Explorer. Purist. Adventurer. Sensualist. Ritualist.
The Gym
Log five coffees from Square Mile and you're a Regular. Fifteen and you're a Super Fan. Every roastery you love has a tier. The more you drink, the deeper your membership gets.
City maps
Every stockist and cafe that carries the coffees you like, mapped. Find where to drink what you love before you leave the flat. London and Lisbon first.
Honest recommendations
No roastery pays to appear in your recommendations. Results are built from your taste profile only. We'll say so, explicitly, in the app.
The demand has been there for years
“Why is there no Untappd for coffee?”r/coffee — asked every year for over a decade. 3.5 million members.
Untappd launched in 2010, reached 11 million users, and changed how people think about craft beer. The equivalent app for specialty coffee has never been built. Cuppd is that app.
Your coffees deserve to be found.
Claim your roastery profile for free. Your coffees appear in search, taste-profile recommendations, and city maps. No editorial gatekeeping. No fee to be listed.
Roastery Pro unlocks analytics, promoted placements, and direct customer data.
